  • I created Shqiperia-Etnike.com. Sqiperia-Etnike.com does not resolve, but Shqiperia-Etnike.com does. Spelling errors can cause a lot of problems, which is why I prefer to copy-and-paste domain names rather than key them in myself. Many dangerous vira (trojans), and ABOUTUS.COM apologized hundred or more times for not being abel to find the webpages I sent to you. Please be aware of spyware and other intrusions. Please see Special:Contributions/Omenvorte (your contributions). Anytime it says "removing all content from page" in the EditSummary this is what I am talking about. It does not make sense at all! When ABOUTUS.COM tells me an existing page does not exist, have I than to wait 5 or 10 minutes before I am allowed to hit "SAVE PAGE"? Many times you find it after some time: wherefore then your program tells me the page does not exist instead of telling me to wait? What do you think about adding more to some of these new pages you are creating rather than just one line saying the domain exists? I think it would be more useful for your time to either improve upon some of these new pages you create or work on some existing pages that the bot was able to create. I do not know why exactly, it is probably considering them to be subdomains. The AboutUs.org bot isn't perfect, and can't create pages for every web site... but that doesn't meant that AboutUs.org doesn't think that they exist. KristinaWeis | **talk** 21:22, 12 October 2007 (PDT)

I've seen a lot of Italian domains that end in ".it" and they are created just fine by the bot. I'm not sure, our development team is always working to improve the site and add new features. KristinaWeis | **talk** 21:32, 12 October 2007 (PDT)

There are two sorts of Italian domains: such ending with "it" and many millions ending with"BZ.IT". These pages are not subdomains, but belong to SOUTH TIROL, for example BOZEN.BZ.IT. Omenvorte 21:38, 12 October 2007 (PDT)

These sites are not "excluded", we just don't have a good way to machine-start them yet. Human-edited pages are of much more value than machine-edited ones anyway, don't you agree? AboutUs.org is still in beta, so please be patient as we improve. Improving the bot is not currently high on our priority list. Red Flag

Sorry, but you are wrong. I always open every page before I try to save it. Just now I found TIBETPLUS.COM immediately '256'times at YAHOO. Only ABOUTUS.ORG searches for minutes and minutes and does not find it. Thousends of easy to find websites you can't find. ABOUTUS.ORG has the loss, not me! You didn't find even KITZBUEHEL.COM. I found it '146'times at YAHOO and GOOGLE, but you don't know better than to accuse me not opening these pages before. I suppose, you are full of prejudices and don't try to open them. Hey, let's figure that out together. I realize that your are right on some counts like AboutUsBot is unable to build a page for TibetPlus.com although the website does exist. But the following websites for which you have built a page on AboutUs do not resolve for me. Do they resolve for you? :

Just now ABOUTUS.ORG is searching at least 10 minutes for KAMCHATKADVENTURES.RU. I found it many times immediately with YAHOO and GOOGLE. Is your search-engine good for nothing? For EXAMPLE: BABYBEDENKZEIT.DE is immediately (a fraction of a second) to be found with YAHOO or GOOGLE, but ABOUTUS.ORG searches half an hour and can't find it. Where are these words to be posted? Can you make an example for me? Please try with BIOTHERM.NL. Aboutus.org accepts BIOTHERM.AT, BIOTHERM.DE a.s.o., but not BIOTHERM.NL, .ES, .NL et.c. (BAUSTOPP.AT, very important, with 43 pages is the same problem). No, dear SAAD! I'm not enjoying "this". I just don't know how to direct from Bmuk.gv.at to Bmbwk.gv.at. The competencies have changed. It would be the duty of the ministery to redirect, but as all politicians and the civil service in general are good for nothing. Like at the old Romans they should work honoraryly and not for money, for a lot of money. BMUK means "Bundesministerium für Unterricht und Kunst", BMBWK means Bundesministerium für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kunst: that means: less money for education, for art, for science, for the universities and schools, and more money for the politicians. You see: America (the "STATES" are meant) is the idol of all the world. You don't know why ABOUTUS.ORG does not accept so many active normal pages? Domains with many pages are generally not accepted. Hi Omen, Sorry for replying late. Here is how you do a Redirect. So you would want to edit Bmuk.gv.at remove all content from it and paste the redirect code there for the new URL of the ministry. Example #redirect [[NewUrlOfMinistery.com]]. You are right, the old site should redirect to the new one automatically.

I'll get back to you about certain domains not being picked up. Generally the domains you pointed out did get added into aboutus after a while. It could very well be an issue on the routing side. And i see what you mean by the system not adding URLs with subdomains. OK Mark, but you know censorship is good for nothing as long as isn't done all over the world. Connoisseurs know where to find really bad stuff. Try QUANTCAST.COM (they have every subdomain and all the expired domains at least by name). Also ISRCHNKD.COM(I search naked) is specialized in porn. I just saw this - thanks! We have actually been flagging pages like crazy for probably the last six months, it's just that there are so many that it's hard to play catch-up. We've even tried to run bots to automatically flag adult pages but they were giving us lots of false positives so we had to turn them off. How have you been?

Saw your Influence Us note on 1-wfg.de about the site being flagged as adult. That was a false positive and thx for pointing it out. Normally Influence Us is used to leave feedback other organizations (such as 1-wfg.de) to improve by leaving a delighted or frustrated comment about them not us.

Hello SA'AD ! Thank you for answering. I'm sorry, but it is still happening on my end. ABOUTUS.ORG didn't search for thousends (!!!) of domains I put in. It is the same problem at the PCs of LUIGI, who surfes via satellite. Try for example to search for GLAS-KUNST-DESIGN.at. You will find it, but for me your BOT doesn't work any more like in the past. I use WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE and the INTERNET EXPLORER of WINDOWS. It can't be a problem with my explorer, because Luigi has the same problem. Your BOT does not search for any new domain we put in. Omen, I searched for GLAS-KUNST-DESIGN.at and the page did not exist but the bot created it for me which tells me that our bot is working. I would like you to do one small test for me to verify if it is a problem with Internet Explorer or your ISP. Im not sure what Luigi is. The test is, if you have access to Firefox, kindly visit AboutUs through firefox and search for a domain that was failing for you. Let me know if it still does not create the page. Hello SA'AD ! My friend installed FIREFOX and I put in 1000s of sites int ABOUTUS.ORG. In EUROPE nearly nobody surfes by FIREFOX. Here it works much to slowly. The European telephone circuits are prediluvial. In the States FIREFOX works at least hundred times faster than in Europe. FIREFOX also has no FISHING FILTER! Since last night the INTERNET EXPLORER also is operating again in your BOT, but now it does not find many just normal domains like ERDBEERPFLANZEN.AT or REICHER-SPARGEL.AT. With GOOGLE you find them immediately. Please try to find these domains. Yours OMENVORTE.
